Fedearia Nicholson (2009) became Director of the Office of Multicultural Development at The University of Akron in 2007. In this role, Ms. Nicholson directs first year programs related to the retention of multicultural students, and oversees the execution of programs addressing issues facing the multicultural community. Ms. Nicholson earned an MA in public administration from The University of Akron, as well as a BA in psychology. She is currently working on her doctorate in urban studies and public affairs. Ms. Nicholson was awarded the first ACE Women's Network-Ohio Professional Development Scholarship in 2009 to attend the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education.
